Worst finance company in existence! Had a couple late payments at the beginning of the year took a few months to get everything caught up but the account was brought current and everything has been paid on time since august. Now all of the sudden in November there has been several months of late fees added to my bill this month. What a way to do business! These people are a bunch of dishonest crooks, dont deal with them at all... ever!
Worst auto loan company ever. I traded in my vehicle that they had a lien on over a month ago and the dealership electronically sent them the payoff. They REFUSE to acknowledge the payoff of which I have proof that was sent to Santander. Reading the reviews, it looks like I'm not the first person to have this issue.
Would not recommend! Stay away!
Avoid this company at all costs. They tried charging us twice in one month. When we originally tried to tell someone on the phone that we didn't authorize it, the lady (who we could barely understand) got instantly annoyed and eventually ended up hanging up on us without even trying to solve the issue. Now we are getting phone calls that our payment is past due when we've already paid, on time, successfully. This is an absolute mess.
My niece received a car loan from this company. Unfortunately she got a couple months behind on her payment. She did notify the loan company regarding her issue. However, this loan company incorrectly entered her information into the computer system saying that she was several months behind on her payment. Causing them to get their vehicle repossessed, just before the holidays. Which was very convenient for the loan company. They only gave her 10 days to try and take care of this matter! Or, she was told, they would sell her car! But then they refused to answer their phone. And you could not leave a voicemail message because their mail was full! (we even tried faxing them, and nothing!) And like it was mentioned above, it was around the holidays! If you get your vehicle repossessed the company they use will take your vehicle to Utah! Guess what? Their vehicle is not in Utah! They also say it’s not in Colorado! They have no idea where her car is even though she has paid the money due and has done all the paperwork required to have her car released to her! My advice? Make sure you research who you’re getting your loan through
