I originally moved to San Diego County Credit Union after leaving the horrible banking experience of the regular Wells Fargo style Banks however now San Diego County Credit Union after having my credit cards my car loan my direct deposits refuses to waive cashier's checks in constantly hounds me about opening more credit with them which shows they're turning into the normal BS banking style and I won't recommend this Branch or any other branch of SDCCU ever again horrible service in the tall blonde manager at this location has no Christmas spirit and is not kind in any way along with her bugged-out eyes that make her look like she's on meds
I was incredibly disappointed with our interaction with Bill Youmans. We had been waiting over an hour to speak with someone about opening a joint savings account and by the time someone was available, it was nearing closing. When he came over to greet us he was visibly annoyed, but we sat down with him anyway because we had already been waiting for quite some time that it would have been a waste of our time to leave. When we sat down with him it seemed like he was pretending to not understand what we wanted in an effort to confuse us and get us to leave, but that is just my speculation. He gave us the runaround for about 5 to 10 minutes about checking accounts until we were finally on the same page. My speculation was confirmed when he asked us if we really wanted to sit down for 30 minutes to open an account " because that's how long it's going to take". We most certaintly did not want to spend anymore time with him and decided to leave without opening the account. I love banking at SDCCU and had never had a bad experience with a teller. We still plan to open the account because that would make life easier for us, but we will ask for anyone but him when we come in next.
This credit union is far superior to the 5 other banks I've used in my life time. Amazing customer service. Fast loan approvals. Much better rates than big banks. And every employee treats you like family. I'll never close my account with SDCCU!
Deposited $1000 cash the other day so I could pay my rent. ATM Locked up, and shut down without recording my deposit or giving me my money back. 5 days later, 800 customer service line is rude, my “provisional” credit is not issued. Completely unacceptable. Every person I know will be closing their accounts with sdccu and if you’re reading this, run now. Why go to a credit union that will treat you worse the B of A or Wells .. at least their ATMs and apps work.
I came in after I had seen a review online about this particular branch. I must say that the review was positive, so naturally I was interested in the opportunity to have a similar experience...and....I absolutely did!
