Bank was closed on sat. so went to this spot for 1st time to try & cash my pay check. The Co. I work for was closed and the guy says he needs to contact them. There is a verification # on the check but he didn't want to call them, he says to come back on Monday (yea right). Nothing but "NO", "WE Can't", Sorry", blah, blah, blah. I looked up a spot called Speedy Cash on Van Nuys & San Fer Rd. Like night & day.. positive attitude "let's see what we can do for you" type customer service. The lady had to make some calls but got the verification she needed and cashed my check ! Same rate as the other spot, so don't go to ace, go to Speedy Cash instead.. they're way better.
