Best Tahoe ski resort. Brilliant powder days, terrain for all levels, good food options, great access and parking. There is so much terrain that despite the large number of people that come to squaw, the slopes never feel crowded and lift lines are fairly quick. On both Ikon and Mountain Collective season passes, the 4-pack lift ticket is another economical option. KT-22 is the best!
The best ski resort in the Sierra's. I also worked at the other end of the lake. The area was a great ski area, but our customers drove me back to Vermont. Squaw Valley USA does rock!! Your customers are way better and the terrain is awesome! This is coming from a guy who grew up a Vermont skier. Keep up your great Squaw vibe and run it the way it is supposed to be. Go Squaw and keep keeping it real!!!
the place itself is great but it is very expensive. i have been to many ski places and non has been this expensive an hour private lesson is about $200, hot coco is over $6 and it goes on. good to try once at least for me but we wont be back any time soon
My family attended Oktoberfest at the Squaw Valley resort and had a great time. The atmosphere is great, and we had a really good time. The village they have built looks like a great place to go for a ski vacation, but I cannot speak to that.
Room was nice, good size and bed was comfortable... Location is great... Right next to lifts if you're sking. Staff was friendly. Could use more to the fitness area and hot tub are was not impressive, but it was snowing so, but if you're in the building and not outside in the snow or nature... You went to squaw valley for the wrong reason. All in all had a awesome stay.
