We were clear and open with our financial situation from day one. We were approved three time throughout the process. Two weeks before closing, they came back and told us that we were NOT approved! How can this be? The problem was so fundamental that they could have saved us a lot of our time (3 months) and work if they would have reviewed our file properly. Their practices are questionable. We had selected the site, selected the flooring and carpet, and we were watching the house being built and planning for our first move. We had taken money out from our retirement funds for the deposit, so they caused us to incur expenses (i.e. penalties and fees) as well. It was hard to tell my family that we were not getting the house after all the emotions and plans we had invested in the house. UAMC and Lennar do not care, and please be careful with them. You want to monitor and check everything they do; don't trust them. I was buying a house at Rosena Ranch in San Bernardino, and my agents were Corina Ruiz (Lennar) and Sandra Lewis and Julient Burtlett (UAMC). Very uncaring and incompetent staff. Now, I am trying to get my refund back, and they are taking their precious time. I don't hear from them. We have been waiting and waiting to receive our refund from escrow and the design center. Lennar is not doing anything to expedite this refund - not at all! Good luck!
