I went to cash a 401k check. There was no line but had to wait 45 minutes for an answer on if it would be approved. It wasn't. I went to Walmart and walked out with my cash in 20 minutes. The girl was nice but clearly bewildered. She then suggested I talk to the people who didn't approve the check? Am I supposed to go in the back and use the phone to talk to their people? It was a strange situation all together but it worked out in the end. Thank God I got to Wal mart before the money center closed.
