I have been using the services of this business for years. They can be a bit expensive so prudence is justified. The things I like about them is the staff is friendly and the hours are much later than traditional banks. I also like that an ID is not always needed when they have gotten to know you and they will also have a picture of you from previous on their screen. I have used them also for sending money or putting money on a debit card so I can use that card on the web where I feel more comfortable giving out the number knowing my liability is limited.
I've been going to the California check cashing on Willow Pass Road for years. Their wonderful culturally diverse staff and management are friendly, professional and always remember my name. And the charges for cashing a check or using their reloadable debit cards are very reasonable. It's the little things like that that keep me from opening up an account at Wells Fargo.
