I've been with union bank for 8 or so years now. Go anywhere else. I'm very tired of monthly fees for random features and online banking statements ect. Checking your bank account online should be free it's 2018. Union bank has too many random monthly fees that are complete nonsense that show up in your account simply as "monthly charges" withdrawn by the bank. They charge both my accounts Constantly each month for diffetent reason. They didnt always do this and If I go in and complain they often reverse the charges. It's honestly really shady. go to SDCCU. credit unions don't screw their customers for petty change on fees
Upon calling the 800 number I was denied service (01-10-18)with no reason given twice a week apart. I was asked by the supervisor when I go into the bank have the clerk notate that Identity was proven so as not to have any problems calling the 800 number for service. I Went to this branch I was helped by Patty (01-12-18) I asked her to please make a notation on my account that identity is proven. I made my request with my Drivers License at the begging and at the end of my transaction, she promised to make the notation in the system. I mentioned to her I had my Debit card stolen or lost and that I may be calling back in a few days. To my dismay I was once again was denied service by Mr. Terivino and by his supervisor Chantal at the 800 number on (1-16-18) even after all security questions were answered correctly. I was given no reason as to why my request was denied and was instructed to go into the nearest branch. I ended up returning today (01-16-18), spoke with the Manager Joshua Thompson and explained the situation. After being lied to point blank by Patty and given the run around on the 800 number and spending a total of 1 hour and 25 minutes combined of my time all confidence and all service s offered by this bank have been lost. I decided rafter 15 years with this bank to "close both my checking and savings account"! This location lies point blank to there customer and make no concession about mistakes made here, but only to offer an apology!
I've been sitting waiting for service for 15 minutes, no one has approached me meanwhile everyone whom walked through the door has been helped. There is no one sitting in the cubicles. Meanwhile I'm being ignored by all 5 of the employees behind the counter. So disrespectful
Horrible service even when they’re not busy. Always having trouble with union bank in general. I think I’m going to transfer to real union bank like a credit union.
Standard bank but tellers are friendly when i cashed a personal check.
