Love love love the view from the top. The gondola is free, you can ride all day long. I saw some animals, just too far so you might want to bring binoculars. There is a restaurant/bar if you ever get hungry or just chilling with beer while watching the magnificent views. We visited during dusk and it was perfect! I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
The first time in my life I have ever been on a ski trip had to listen to the greatest skiers I know commenting on how there is just too much snow! If you are not the best skier on the planet don't bother, if it a blizzard. The mountain is increadably steep. They only have black diamonds and black diamonds with no visibility. But if you are an amazing skier, I can definitely say this mountain will challenge you just as much if not more than any mountain in Europe! Do not forget to stay at the Four Seasons Lodge. It is the only way to truly enjoy the mountain. There just isn't any comparison to any ski destination on the planet! Then to come into their cozy Lodge after having the mountain happily beat you near to death. You have earned that martini and you will be satisfied more anything you could possibly dream up even if you are a billionaire!
Pretty resort but they charge a ton for everything. Definitely a tourist resort. Car pool with 3+ people or prepare to pay for parking even from the shuttle lot.
Throughly enjoyed it!! Beautiful! A once in a lifetime experience unless I go back next year, then it will be a twice in a lifetime!
Best winter resort in the US with constantly improving access and services to all levels of experience. Most of the mountain is advanced to expert, with multiple exit gates into the backcountry. Endless possibilities.
