Washington Island Campground's Reviews
Made our first, but not last trip to the island! This campground is beautiful and has a place to stay for everyone's needs. Whether it be a tent, cabin, or RV sites. The swimming pond was fun to cool off in and the kids jumped off the floaty slide more times then i could count. Shower facilities were always taken care of and front desk was always so kind and helpful. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit to the island.
I took my family here for a 4 day vacation in the summer of 2019 and we now plan to make it an annual trip, with more days. One thing on the negative side, the miniature golf coarse is in terrible shape, some holes are unusable. It would be nice if they fixed it but we weren't really there for that, we were there to get away from everything, and we did. The main thing I liked is the staff, they were all very friendly. We stayed in one of their cabins and were really impressed. Really clean and had everything we needed to make it a relaxing vacation.
Very nice cabins for the price. The basic cabin was dog friendly and had a microwave, mini refrigerator, space heater and had a room with a sink but no toilet. Outhouses are within a short walking distance. I think in future I would get a deluxe cabin with a toilet to avoid having to walk to the outhouse at night etc. The cabin is not insulated so bring the appropriate blankets for early or late year trips. The cabin also had a nice picnic table and fire pit. The fire pit was not what I could call typical and did not have a metal grate for cooking, so keep that in mind if you plan to cook over a fire. Overall great experience and will return in the future.
We love their little cabins. Everything was nice and clean and the people were so friendly. And super nice about bringing our baby, Bella.
Amazing. Campsites are very nice. Private, shaded. The staff is awesome; they are very helpful and kind. One of the owners even helped me out late at night when my son locked our keys in our car! There is a nice little swimming pond. Kids had a blast. We will return!
