We ate at this great little restaurant for lunch while staying on the island. I had the very best BLT that I have ever had, and I make them all the time at home. My husband had a wrap that he loved as well. I also had a piece of cherry pie for dessert that was just what I was having a hankering for for days. It was homemade. We ate outside at a picnic table and it was very relaxing and enjoyable. The service was also top notch and the server very friendly. There is a story behind this cute little restaurant and inn. This is a wonderful family who runs it. The mom is a pastor and adopted 6 children who were in the foster system. I am glad we chose this little gem for lunch and will visit again if we are in the area. You should too!
Great service. They serve breakfast until 11 am. Perfect for late risers. History is intriguing as well. Egg and sausage sandwich hit the spot. Eggs done perfectly.
We stayed in the Heritage Room with a king bed...pure heaven, did not want to get out of it!!! Everyone is so friendly and kind. Food was fantastic. It’s close to everything and very convenient. Valerie and here family are a blessing and I would highly recommend them ❤️
I ate here for breakfast. I think this place has potential as a faith-based diner but they need to go back to the basics. Clean coffee mugs and silverware are a must! The service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and quaint. However, they were not prepared to be busy and frantically ran around. When the patrons flood in take a deep breath and realize there arent that many. Give each table proper attention and make sure they get what they ordered...especially when its a side of bacon Took 1 hour to get our food and the bacon never came.
It was crowded on the July 4 weekend. Food was simply but good. Generous donations to local nonprofits in area. It's lunch for a cause.
