They don't give loans to people that have child support payments. The process with the loan officer was great. They were friendly and professional, but that really should be something that should be addressed beforehand. They looked at all of our credit history, but didn't mention it. It was a let down and a waste of time. This was never a problem in the past with other banks, but according to the loan officer it is their policy. So much for "your more then just your credit score"
My wife banks here, so I came in to open an account. I stood there for ten minutes while two tellers assisted one family with their travel plans (something that should have been handled by anyone other than a teller, and definitely not two.) Not one person came to see if they could help me. I think I'll stick with my current bank. Probably a home loan opportunity missed.
My husband and I have belonged to MCU for 38 yrs.weve been having difficulty with deposits and withdrawals.its my money and these young kids act like we are bank robbers. I wont have it anymore. Terrible hours that lack flexibility with my schedule. The service was sub par and generally is staffed by many young and inexperienced workers who are either in high school or college. I will never ever step foot in the building again due to my terrible experience with them and their awful customer service, and lack of making me feel welcome to my bank. Additionally, when closing my account, I didn't need to provide any verification of my identity and was able to close my account with a simple signature. If that doesn't tell you something about how awful this place is, I don't know what would.
I have been banking with them since I opened my first account. Love this credit Union!
