Heights Finance Corporation in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

If there was a zero star option I'm sure most people would select it. However one is the lowest possible, so that's how I would rate this company. I have taken out multiple loans from Heights Finance over the past several years including financing my wife engagement ring. Never missed a payment, always had a good experience with them, until due to their website not working correctly which led to my remaining balance being paid off in full, instead of making my regular payment for this month. I did not have the entire remainder of my loan in my bank account at this time and was charged an overdraft fee from my bank, then another small charge went through, leading to another fee. Now I'm out nearly $700 I didn't have. I made my payment on the 11th of October, the charge went through the 16th. I called and explained the error and on the 17th, and that the confirmation email I received after trying to make a payment didn't include an amount so I had no idea they were going to withdraw the remaining balance from my account. I was told today, the 18th, that due to so many days passing since paying off the loan (6 days from the time I paid until I called) that they weren't able to refund the withdrawal. Six days. I didn't even see the withdrawal until the fifth day. Then whomever I spoke too had the audacity to ask if I'd be interested in taking out another loan after I explained what a difficult position this put me in. I of course said no, trying not to laugh and told them I'd not be using their services again. Loan sharks through and through. 0/5 stars.

Worst company ever. Tamara that works there is super rude and annoying. Even if your a day late they start calling everyday. Probably because they have nothing better to do. Used to be better when other people worked there.

They gave me an auto loan when noone else would. Granted the interest rate was high but you can expect that at these places. I was able to raise my credit to where my regular bank was able to refinance at a lower rate. But these guys were there for me when noone else was. Thanks Heights Finance.

I would not recommend Heights Finance to anyone. Late last year I finance furniture through them and not too long after my spouse became unemployed. I fell behind on everything because it's a tad bit difficult to support two people on my income. They sued me and won which resulted in them garnishing almost $100 a week, which I can't afford so now I'm unable to pay my rent at all. Thanks!!!!

I really thought this place was good and easy to work with for the past 6 months.. then I called April 20th paid my bill which was due the 23rd.. everything seemed fine til I noticed it never went thru my bank.. so I called as they said I never made a payment and this was an error.. lucky I was already ahead for this month but if I wouldn't have been it would've showed me making a payment late.. i find it very funny they have my info add put that in without a problem but my payment didn't go thru and even gave a confirmation number??.. I hope it's nothing fishy.
