I have been using C&D for my business for 9 months now, nearly borrowing each month, and I was shocked and concerned today when the manager (Danielle Kiesgen) displayed zero regard for customer service and value for business—my business! In her words, “we’re not in the business to make money here—it’s about being paid back.” Wow! Firstly, I have always paid back my loans on time. Secondly, I have been offered many times to take out larger loans by other associates because of the proof I provided that I could pay it back. Thirdly, what business says they’re not in the business to make money?[!] So you’re saying you wouldn’t want me to take out a high interest loan if I prove I can pay it back?[!] —because it is more about a safe loan practice? I’m confused, Danielle. I showed you all the necessary proof to qualify for the help and you were very rude, and I highly doubt you would have spoken this way in front of your supervisor. Simply put: try and avoid Danielle at all cost. Use any other associate for your needs. They will definitely be more helpful and friendlier. Danielle will not help you get a loan or payday advance if she does not feel like helping you. She will rush you out the door and be very rude with your questions. I highly suggest you bring your complaints to Ms. White, her supervisor, if you feel you have been treated disrespectful and undervalued as a customer.
