Capital Good Fund in Providence, Rhode Island

I've been a client of Capital Good Fund for years. The loan officers are very professional and personal care is taken with you from day one. They listen to your needs and go out of their way to assist you. They make you feel very special.

9/19/19 ( after hours ) applied for loan online 9/20/19- was prompted to send in statements 9/20/19-4:45pm I was told via email they have received my documents and I would have a decision within 1-2 business days . At 5pm that same day I logged in my account and it already said “ convey decision “ so within seconds of looking at my bank statements they had an answer ?!?? The next 3 days after that . No live rep to talk to , and with the chat option they all said the same thing. “ Your decision has been made but only a loan officer can look into your account “ they will get back to you today ..... today a week later still nothing . No YES no NO. I just don’t get it ! And after reading the reviews it seems as though your communication is lacking . As customers we trust in you when we are In a bind or have an emergency because we need the money . All the chat reps were very nice but it seems as though all there answers were scripted . If you can’t loan us the money that’s ok but it’s just wrong to leave people high and dry for days / weeks waiting for an answer . When the yes or no is sitting in my file . I need to know if I need to look else where . The way your website portrays itself is like you care and want to help and respond fast . I just don’t get it . As of today 9/27/19 after chatting with about 5 reps I still don’t know if it’s a yes or no .

Go to a real bank! I never ever leave reviews or go based on reviews. Because everyone’s situation and needs are different. From my experience I think they pick and choose who they choose to help which is fine but don’t project that you want to help people of a certain group of people based on your formulary factoring regarding supposedly below poverty loan assistance . From the inconsistencies in the responses for my request right on down to obviously needing more man power to prevent vital mistakes. First I was sent the wrong response email, and had I not questioned the items listed in the response I am not sure I would’ve received a corrected email acknowledging that this email in no way corresponded to the documentation I submitted initially only getting an apology advising that the loan officers manage over 100 cases at a time. Secondly a decision was made on a Monday and my credit profile had no been accessed until I raised concerns 2 days later ... that made me wonder that the entire picture may not have been factored in. Then I received a second email with completely different response still not relatively related! I cannot stress enough I have no problem ....With a denial! But I do not trust the ability of this company to provide honest accurate loan decisions at all! The people I spoke to were nice but I have a lot of concerns that people may have been falsely denied or they are simply not who they say they are. I was immediately able to end up meeting my own needs. And as far as them offering me credit services please! This company could not even handle my application correctly, I hate to leave such a harsh review but facts are facts. If you are able hold off and get your credit right and go to a bigger institution.

Capital Good fund aka Providence what a wonderful place when you need a helping hand and paying it back. Great staff and work with you towards paying loan back. Helped with rent, cable bill, electric and gas bill. .

They take care of you even when you think there's no hope. I appreciate all the workers that help out with this group
