Had a loan twice, even referred ppl, always paid my payments on time, been about 2 years and I revisit them today and gets NOTHING. Nothing really changed on my end...but they did look at me funny if you know what I mean!
I asked for a one month free deferring this payment on my Loan. In order to do so I had to do a few things first, which I was not aware of. Sign Documents. Get my proof of income and then reestablish my on line Mariner Finance account. I live on Grand Island which is a long drive. The rep I had said we may be able to do all this on line on their computer. After a few mistakes, like Password forget, Username, which meant a bunch of emails for password change and Username we got it done. Time it took was not long because my rep knew where to go to get this done. Total time was about 2 plus hours which to me is dandy. Great service from a great institution!
They told us we were approved for a loan, we go there and they tell us they're computer screwed up. Worst customer service ever.
I have taken loans out with them before so when we had a major setback to our home due to flooding I thought of these guys first. What a nightmare this was, if I could now rate them zero stars I would. The loan itself needed a cosigner, my mom agreed to help and they apparently need our car loan information. My car I am still currently paying, her car is payed off. They told me that I needed to have my mom's cosigner for her car to come in as well to sign off on paperwork. I asked why considering her car has been payed off for over 2 years; the guy said it was their policy. My mother's cosigner of her car passed away a few years ago and I told them this. The guy told me well then we cannot give you a loan. Will never do business with them, ever again.
Couldn’t have been easier to get a personal loan and consolidate some debt. This was a great experience. Did 90% over the phone and showed up to office to collect our funds.
