Was approved for a loan, went to go sign all the paperwork and pick up the check to deposit in my account because I scheduled to have my bills paid off on the following Monday, to be told when I got there they could not give me the loan. It was a week I was approved for it with my schedule I had to wait to go get it in between no one from the office contacted me to tell me I couldn’t get it they waited until I showed up to sign for it to tell me. Shame on you I am a former customer and will never come to Mariner again and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.
Save your time and money and go to OneMain Financial. Much better experience and easy approvals compared to them and if you go through hardship.. they work with you unlike Mariners...!!!
Went to borrow $1,500 my payback was $111 a month for 31 months that's about $3,400 that's over 50% interest this place in places like these are what's wrong with this country. They take advantage of vulnerable people. They should be shut down. Then they called me back with what they said was a better rate no thank you beware people
A much better experience this time. (This is my 2nd time using them.) The staff I worked with were on top of things and did their best to get me what I needed. The interest rates are high, but a great option for a short term emergency solution, if you can pay off quickly.
