This company will scam you. I received an interest free loan through a furniture store through this company. They told me they were paperless and they don't send emails about balances due. It's purely my responsibility to know when I'm supposed to pay. I asked to pay off my balance and did. Then a year later I get an email saying I'm overdue. I still owed $138 with $40+ in interest. They said the money I paid when I thought I had paid off the amount had covered my payments for the entire year. They said they never sent me a notice saying it had been paid off and it was my responsibility to know that they needed to send that. So basically they are a company that refuses to communicate with their customers about what they owe so they can trap them into paying interest and late fees.

This company is terrible. Would be ZERO stars if that were an option. They do not mail out bills and there is no way to see your balance unless you call and ask for it. They have shady policies. They lure you in with 0% interest, but will do everything in their power to “default” this and charge interest for the whole term of the loan even if you choose to pay off early. They also charge you every time you want to make a payment. I would definitely look for other options for financing.

Great experience dealing with the St. Peters office. Mary and the rest of the staff are pleasant and professional. First loan was thru Ashley Furniture and we paid that off early. Now we qualify for thousands! That's how credit should work. I also like being able to deal face to face with a local company. PFC is a great help when you need cash.

I will never do business with this company again. They were the financier for a no interest promotional purchase I made. I called a few times in the past few months for a payoff amount which was quoted in the $700 range. I called again today, and was quoted nearly $1200. As it turns out, my promotional period expired in the meantime with no notification or even the courtesy of a warning in one of the many times I called for a payoff and now I'm liable for the back interest. I understand that this is how the promotional periods work, but I have done promotional financing through many companies over the years and have never dealt with one that just let the promotion expire without so much as a courtesy call to let me know my time was nearly up. The folks in the office basically told me that their "system just isn't set up to do this". It is clearly set up to charge me the interest the second the promotion expired though. I recommend you pay close attention to who the financier is when taking advantage of promotional financing so you don't end up in the same situation. Most certainly steer clear of PFC at all costs.

Financed furniture through Personal Finance Company and they where great to work. Always pleasant and easy to work with.
