I’m posting this for any future military members who attempt to apply here who haven’t checked reviews on Glassdoor or Indeed which rank about 2.9 out of 5 stars or below. (Especially Reservists coming off deployments protected under USERRA.) Firstly... this company is not Veteran/Military friendly and they really don’t pay very much attention to applications considering my application states on Indeed I’m currently serving on a deployment. If you actually looked at my application, I feel like you wouldn’t have even bothered to reach out to me. They are hurting for personnel, a lot of vacancies for Management positions, but their retention is horrible and the work environment is unhealthy from multiple reviews on Indeed and Glassdoor. Still, I wanted to give it a try because they still decided to call me and give me the time of day after reviewing my resume on indeed and asking me to apply on their own web page. Secondly, the entry level management positions are around $13-$15 from most Salaries reported which is awful considering the average is $40-$45k annually. Finally, I received a call from Donna this morning who is probably the Branch Manager and I understand they need personnel now, but she wouldn’t even give me at least an interview, a chance... because I’m on military orders and I can’t control that. Not exactly “equal opportunity.” Which she can try and validate herself, but she’s discriminating me for my service when I can’t control when my orders to go back home hit any earlier. I hope in the future they don’t do this to someone else, because someone will use USERRA and push against them a lot harder than just leaving a bad review. Seems like a lot of civilian jobs are like this when they are scrambling to find people for their positions, to anyone looking for a job when they come back home to the Fort Leonard Wood area. Stay away from this place. And to customers, look at their reviews on Indeed and Glassdoor because they are not good. It’s more of a Pay Day Loan place from my understanding and the staff are there to help themselves more than they are there to help you. Not by choice either, but from their toxic leadership that directs them to do so.
Went to go pay a loan payment, and had a very limited time. Found a “Back in the 30 minutes” sign in the door, but they neglected to put a time stamp. Thirty minutes from when? It’s called doing good business people. Not going to be using them again.
