These people need to be ran out of town on a rail. I've been paying on an $800 loan for a year now and they're saying I've got over $1,100 to go. Either they're not processing payments or they slipped in a bunch of add ons and insurance that I quite explicitly stated I DIDN'T want. Not only that, but I'm appaled at their pushy tactics trying to get you to borrow more money at their astronomical interest rates. They wasted half my lunch hour one day when I just wanted to make a payment. Instead of taking no for an answer, he was DRAWING UP A NEW CONTRACT while I'm saying NO! All the while, insulting my intelligence by telling me what a smart choice it would be. I'm going to crunch the numbers because, at this point, it may be cheaper and smarter on my end to just take the hit to my credit and tell them to piss off. I've never done that. I always honor a contract but when you've been conned, that goes out the window. From an ethical standpoint, They've gotten the money back that I borrowed and a substantial sum more. Well above fair market interest.
