The staff is friendly, efficient, accurate & helpful. They have saved me from card fraud twice.

I cannot say enough great things about this Credit Union. I have been a member here for years because of the amazing service I get each and every time I have to go into a branch or call for something. Ms. Kathy was my go-to person before she retired - and now I work with Ms. Linda who has been equally as great - although anybody at the branch is willing to help - I always ask for Ms. Linda. She is a stickler for accuracy, privacy and policy - but isn't that what you want from somebody who is handling your money? I take comfort knowing she is working hard for me. I also visit the branch in Pontiac, on Woodward because it's close to my work and the company has a daily deposit relationship with this branch. Here is another great group of people who have helped me when I needed it. Even though the Woodward branch is closer for me, and they are nice people, too (see Marie here) I still prefer the welcoming feeling I get at the Ypsilanti branch - this was my original T&C branch for us old enough to remember them. The Genisys CEO Ms. Jackie - I've seen her at several community related events and she is as equally pleasant; just like her staff. I don't get to the branch(s) as much as I used to in the past because of advancing technology. If I need a loan, the documents are sent over via email and electronically signed with DocuSign. If I have a request to change an auto draft payment - I just call the branch. If I need to deposit a check, I take a picture of it and use the mobile app. Technology is great, convenient and I love it... but it will never take the place of the awesome customer service I receive when I visit a branch in person. My Husband needed a form to be dropped off so that I could be added to his account the form was completely filled out all that was needed was my information which I brought.The representative Linda gave me such a hard time she called my husband twice at work to verify that he wanted me to be on the account even after verification she claims his signature was forged and then proceeded to tell me my ID could be a fake! I have accounts at two other banks that never give me any issues and all we have is a car loan here! Thank God that it's almost done because we WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN!!!

Went in to speak with the branch mgr in ypsi to explain how VividSeats scammed me through their app and charged far more than the agreed upon price just to have the unprofessional slob shrug her shoulders. She even played with the app herself, reviewed email communications between vividseats and i. She confirmed the fraudulent set up but still would not do anything to get my money back. Just proceeded to act as if it didn't matter to her. Idon't understand how they can confirm its complete FRAUD but deny the purpose of refunding my money to me!!! Mind you, I had an account since the 90s and never dealt with something like this before!! You can easily Google how fraudulent VividSeats is ( i obviously did too late), you'd think Genisys would be more interested in keeping a loyal customer then letting them get away with it but they chose not to. So that's fine, i will take my business elsewhere and recommended everyone else do the same bc that's what $700 is worth to them. Other branch experiences have been terrible as well. All employees are so rude and condescending making for such an unpleasant experience(except Sherry in ypsi, she has always been great!!) Overrall, I'm more disappointed than anything else but rest assured, I'll never be back!!!

People are friendly and helpful but have been members here for less than a year and have had my account hacked twice. I have never had this issue with any other bank. I don't know if it their security measures and safeguards or what the case maybe but it sucks. Completely wiped us out just last night.
