I WENT TO ADVANCE AMERICA ON ELIZABETH LAKE ROAD IN WATERFORD MICHIGAN FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTH'S. EACH TIME I TOOK OUT A LOAN, I ALWAYS PAID ON TIME. NEVER HAD AN ISSUE. I CONSIDER MYSELF A GREAT CUSTOMER. ANYHOW, I GOT MANDATED TO A 36 HOUR SHIFT ( I AM A PRIVATE DUTY NURSE ). TODAY MY LOAN WAS DUE FOR REPAYMENT. DUE TO MY NOT BEING ABLE TO TAKE PATIENT OUT AND THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS, I CALLED AN SPOKE TO SHAWNA. I ASKED IF I COULD PAY THEM FIRST THING IN THE MORNING AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATION AND WAS TOLD BY SHAWNA " IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PAYMENT HERE BY 7PM, I WILL SEND YOU TO COLLECTION AND YOU WILL NOT GET ANOTHER LOAN". I CALLED MY BANK TO SEE IF I COULD TRANSFER MONEY FROM MY ACCT TO MY FATHER'S AND HAVE HIM GET THE CASH OUT AND GO UP THERE TO PAY. WELL I WAS ABLE TO TRANSFER THE MONEY, BUT THE BANK ATM WOULD ONLY ALLOW HIM TO TAKE OUT NO MORE THAN $ 500. MY FATHER CALLED ADVANCE AMERICA AND SPOKE WITH SHAWNA. SHAWNA BECAME VERY RUDE TO MY FATHER. I WILL TRY AND GET A HOLD OF OWNER. SHAWNA TOLD MY FATHER THAT SHE DOESN'T CARE IF I RETURN AS A CUSTOMER AND IF I REFERRED ANYONE, THEY DON'T HAVE TO RETURN EITHER.
