This has to be the greatest place to work because the staff always seem so happy. They are so friendly and helpful. This is where you want to bank. They work to make sure you're satisfied.
I visited the Fenton branch for the first time just to pick up a check for my auto loan (through Genisys) and the process was quick and easy, I was in and out of there in about 5 minutes, and on my way to go pick up my new car. Friendly and quick!
STOP giving your money to the slick commercial bankers that want to craft fee’s on every transaction you make. Their mission to to make money for the stockholders and top brass. Give a Credit Union a try and you’ll see a difference from day one. Better products, better interest, keeping more of your money in your account. Super friendly staff In Fenton. They very kind and helpfully when opening my new checking/savings accounts. I have obtained a couple of loans through the White Lake office and that was an exceptional experience as well. At Genisys Credit Union, I had enjoyed the best, friendliest, and most professional banking experience, I can ever remember.
Usually I am pretty content with Genesis and have banked with them for many years. The test of a good bank/credit union is when something happens to your account. One day I was called about some unauthorized transactions. Of the 5, 4 were bad. There was no option on the phone when they called to say which was good, which was bad. It was all or nothing, so I had to call the branch. They turned my card off and told me I had to come in for a new one. I said I live kind of far and she said it could be mailed but wouldn't get there for 7-10 days. I said I work during the branch hours and by the time I get there it would be closed. I asked if it could be expedited and she said it would be $80.00!?! Good Lord! If you can make it in an instant at the branch, why charge 80.00? Needless to say if that's how it's going to be, I will be looking for another credit union. Highly irritating...
