The hours on the website are wrong. They close at 9 not 10. Upon arriving this week to cash my payroll check (I have cashed my checks here every week for 3mo) there was screaming and lots of chaos between the employees and the customers whom were being turned away when trying to cash their checks. I approached the teller and signed two paychecks. The teller then told me that I had already signed them before I got there when I had signed them directly in front of her. She sent me over to the manager and told her this. I requested for them to check the cameras and they told me that the cameras were not on today. I made a call to the corporate office where I was put on hold for a general manager. I was then told at 3:10 p.m. that it was too late for the general manager and that she would take my number and call me back. When I had asked the First Teller for her name, after walking away and ignoring me, she wrote down the name Rosa on a paper. I had to argue with her to get her to write down her last name and ask her if she was refusing to give it to me. They landed up cashing my check I believe because they were scared. The two trips to the check cashing place because the hours were wrong cost me $45 in Uber and I wasted an hour of time there.
I wish I knew the lady's name that helped me out here today, but she went way out of her way when she didnt have to in order to verify a check for me so I could get it cashed today in order to pay my rent. She was so nice and so helpful and so sweet. I would absolutely recommend anyone and everyone here. Thank you again miss. If you are reading this you are awesome!!!!!
I've had several positive experiences here with money orders and transfers. They are less expensive in money orders than anyone else. I find the staff helpful.
Went with my friend this evening to cash a payroll check here. She gave her license and the check ..15 minutes later the girl comes and asks for her pay stub that was attached to the check, she gives it to her .. 10 mins later comes out and asked if she had a work ID. In that time, we watched 20 other people who weren’t white. Come in and not have to show any type of ID. Totally hating the white community here, it’s sickening.
Worst customer service.
