TD Auto Finance LLC in Lewiston, Maine

Bought a new vehicle from a Ram dealership. They continue to bill me for the vehicle i do not own. Vehicle is paid off and they even admit this openly over numerous calls. It takes 30+ days to receive refunds. I have a 831 fico score and expected much better service than this from a finance group catering to people with good credit.

Worst company I ever work with. I was told before I signed the loan that I have 10 days grace period. I was 1 day late and they were blowin my phone constantly. When I answered and I said that I was within the grace period they told me it won't matter and they will keep call me constantly. The customer service lady was rude and Inappropriate... why gave the 10 days If you still going to bother the customer. Avoid this company at all cost.

Did you ever talk to a customer service rep or store clerk and after the conversation ended you get a gut instinct that something just isn’t quite right. So I googled TD Auto Finance and the 1.2 Star Review Rating hit me between the eyes. TD Auto Finance had taken over my truck loan in the last year before paying it off. That was in 2011. I ordered a 2006 Dodge Ram 5.7 HEMI with a bunch of comforts including a sun roof. I loved that truck so much that when I got done paying for it 5 years later, I decided to keep it forever. Well I guess forever for me and trucks is 13 years because I just traded for my fourth Dodge truck, a 2020 Ram Big Horn 5.7 HEMI. So when I pulled out the Title to make the trade I couldn’t find the Lien Release. To cut to the chase, like just about everyone, I was on the phone for 1-1/2 hours with 3 different people. The first says I still have a $624 balance due and she has to put me through to collections. The collection gal says she can’t find anything due, but says I need to go back to customer service. Yup, you guessed it, now I'm waiting for a supervisor to call back in 24-48 business hours. And, oh yes, it will take 5-7 business days for them to find my records from 9 years ago to prove I owe them $624. Today is 11/01/2019, I’ll let you know the outcome, probably in another 9 years!!! Maybe, I will be keeping my ‘06 Dodge Truck forever after all!!

Worst bank ever. If you ever have to bank with then. Do it as short or as fast as possible. Refinance with another bank as soon as you can. If I could give them 0 stars I would!

Absolutely worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Tried to get an online statement but their website doesn’t work. Tried to call to have it sent to me but they couldn’t verify who I was. Waited an hour to get through to someone. They asked the dealership I bought the car from and my employer. I was told I got both answers wrong even though I only bought the car 2 months ago and know exactly who I bought it from and I’ve worked at the same company for the last 12 years. I asked if they could try another form of verification and tried to escalate but they kept repeating the same line - I could not be verified and therefore they can’t answer any questions. I was told to try back the following day but how does that help - my answers are the SAME! Their system is wrong but they have no mechanism to fix it. So I basically can’t speak to anyone about my account. Will NEVER do business with them again.
