I chose this bank for convenience purposes, but I'm highly disappointed with their customer service. I opened a savings account years ago, did very little with the account, I closed a checking account with my previous bank to open a checking with Woodforest. My direct deposit went to my savings until it went Into the new checking. All I did was ask the bank teller why I have these fees? Her first question was " Did you ask to speak with a manager? " No? Why you can't help me? She was rude about it, said a savings account should be used for savings only. Well Duh!!! All these fees were discussed with you when you opened the account... I didn't need a lecture, tried to explain the situation but she didn't want to hear it... Then tells me my mobile deposit takes a week to process!!?? What?? Come to find out she lied. It takes 24 hours before 10 am. Why couldn't she tell me that. I'm seriously thinking of closing my account with them.
Never again I'm cancelling bank account Monday this is the worst thing possible 5/3 here I come this back is horrible
I would like to know why my sisters estate lawyer has not been contacted yet he called Friday the 22nd I would like to know why my family was publicly berated in your branch over my sisters death by your teller and manager WITHOUT checking my brothers identity ( how did she know if and who was on my sister account unless she was prior in it) ? My sister daughter worked at the bank and it not part of my sisters will. This visuals are horrible. This woman , manager along side told my family my dead sisters death certificate ( body) cremation is one in the same..FYI.. how callous and crass , told my brother it would be 30 days ever after we calmly explained. Btw we have my sisters ashes and death certificate. It took 2 -5 days like we calmly explained . I wouldn't allow a piggie bank in the branch.. please reach out to the estate lawyer if you've not. The legal team at the 1 800 awesome ty my heather.. the rest of this bank.. laughable
It is in my belief that all branches of wood-forest banks employees are extremely compassionate to their customers, understanding everyday people life stresses giving team members the ability to work in good faith of their investors and make the impossible possible creating everlasting miracles in their society. There is always a fee every month and each time they give a different excuse to what it is for paperless, direct deposit, lack of direct deposit, having under $100 in the account at the end of the month..... The list goes on and on!!! It's rediculous!
