ACE Cash Express in Indianapolis, Indiana

This was a secret shop experience with employee Liz (7/13/18 @ 3:38pm) : I called and told her I have never taken out a loan before and asked her what all I would need. In an irritated and annoyed voice she listed off that I would need a debit card, most recent paystub and government issued ID. When I asked if I would need a bank statement (because I had been told by a family member that I would) she proceeded to say exactly what she had JUST said but more rudely than the first time around if that is even possible!! A simple nope you don't actually need that at this cash advance location, would have been sufficient. She didn't ask me what my name was or phone number (to follow up with me), she didn't use my name when talking to me because she didn't even ask for it (ironically my name is Liz as well), she did not have a friendly tone, she did not have an enthusiastic attitude, she did no try to make the process easier to understand, she did not list the benefits of why I should choose this company, she didn't try to gain my commitment to a loan, she did not mention I could start the application online or with her over the phone, she did not present herself professionally or make me want to do business with this company. All in all, I hope this makes it to someone of importance as customer service should be a main focus. 0 out of 5 stars for me if it was possible to do 0.

Nice people but always only 1 person on duty. All i need to do is load my card and there is always 3 people in front of me getting a loan that makes a 5 min task 30 min.

Very Pleasant and friendly staff! They offer many services here and the staff are very knowledgeable and informative about the ins and outs of each service. They are also very quick and efficient, most of the time there is little or no line or but even on the one occasion that I was there and there was a substantial line, it still took the lady behind the window no time at all to work through the line! And even though she was quick, she was still very thorough with each customer, making sure that she took care of all of their needs before moving on to the next. And, she did all of this with a smile and a warm friendly demeanor! I was most impressed!

Went here for a Payday loan and went through the process 4 times. The first 3 times were bank related and I finally got it sorted, then the last time I got the new associate and the reasons for denial were more when initially it was just one reason. Wasted 2 days trying to get a loan and now I'm just sick and tired of dealing with this place. The service is poor and they don't even do payday loans as far as I can tell. Don't waste your time on this place. It's not worth it.

Worst EXPERIENCE in terms of "privacy". Sadly, the young lady there was the only one there and she was like nine months pregnant, so shame on "management" for allowing her to work by herself. So now she is answering phones and tending to customers and when she got to me, she began to explain what could be done about the check I was trying to cash. She said she had to call her manager and then call the place where my check came from. It was Saturday and they certainly could not get a hold of them, so I asked for my check back....she had to confirm with her manager to let me walk off....with MY check. Then in GHETTO fashion this woman hollered out the amount of my check and what it was for....HOODTASTIC!!! PLEASE, PLEASE do not support these pimps anymore, they are one of many detriments to low income and middle class families. This place SUCKED!!!!!!
