ACE Cash Express in Indianapolis, Indiana

Was purposely shorted when I cashed a check by an employee under very sketchy circumstances last week and then was told the shortage was probably my fault by the employee. Reached out to corporate and was contacted by a woman who had no interest in helping or looking into it further. Will never use any of these places again.

Always slow to open in the morning .especialy friday mornings .and they busy. Days. Some employees had horrible customer service skillls..

This is the first time I have ever had to deal with one of these places. They always made me nervous. Now, I see that my instincts were correct. My boyfriend was approved for a loan and chose to have it deposited directly into his account instead of taking the cash that day (along with the higher interest rate). The staff member who processed it told him it would take 24-48 hours to reach his account. My boyfriend called his bank every day for a week to see if the money had been deposited-- nothing. He then went back to this location and spoke with a manager who apologized for the inconvenience and offered to give him a cash loan at a lower interest rate if the money did not appear in his account within the next two business days (because they could not reverse the process once it had begun). Two days later, no money. So, he went back to ACE Cash Express and asked to speak to the manager he had previously interacted with. 'She wasn't there, but she would be in around three.' He went back just a little after three-- still wasn't there. He continued to call every day and visit the location just about every other day for a week and a half. NOTHING. NO LOAN. NO HELP..... It gets worse. A month and a half later, we are still behind by roughly the same amount we would have received had we gotten the loan. So, again, my boyfriend tried to acquire a loan-- this time from some of the other payday loan places in the area. Every place he went to denied him because their database SHOWED HE HAD A LOAN OUT... YET, WE'VE NEVER SEEN THE MONEY. An employee at one of these places told him it appeared to be "still processing." My landlord has now filed for eviction because the 10th of the month has passed and we still do not have enough to make the full rent payment. These places are supposed to be a last resort; a saving grace; a temporary relief. ACE Cash Express on Michigan Rd has been none of these things (to us, personally). I wish my boyfriend would have never stepped foot in their establishment.

I stopped here for a money order. The customer service rep was very unprofessional!!! Using profanity with another customer, while other customers were waiting.?!?!?!?!? Crystal was the best customer service rep that previously worked here. It has gone downhill ever since!!!!!!
