Had 2 loans with them , got my credit score up quite a bit, ladies up front are nice, would give 5* but on the one and only payment in the 18 months between both loans I did miss (and ended up being late) they called me nonstop and basically harassing me all over a 60$ payment I turned in like 10 days late . I would probably get another loan from them but they really shouldn’t treat clients like that especially clients with near flawless payment history , it’s kinda a slap in the face. Now they constantly mail me trying to take out another loan, which also is kinda annoying an a waste of paper, if I need one I’d come in.
The manger at World Finance is a very nice guy! He is the kind of guy who makes you feel very welcome when you come in. He is very friendly and very nice. I always enjoy chatting with him and the other employees are very nice too. He is also willing to work with you and can answer any questions you have. He is very informational so you dont feel lost or uneasy in making financial decisions. They can also help with taxes. You can get a small loan and make affordable payments on it too.
Robert Pettyjohn called me from this office today. He was taking up for the behavior of his criminal employees in the Martinsville office who run this like a loan shark business. Run! Stay Away! This company will coerce you into loans, push through fake paperwork to get approvals, and then when you miss a single payment, a day late, they will start hunting you down like a rabid dog. They will call all day long, when you ask them to stop and hang up, they will IMMEDIATELY call right back again. They will call your work, repeatedly, and then your family. EVEN WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO CATCH UP AND ARE MAKING PAYMENTS. I have been paying about $200 a month for well over two years, on time, and here at the end of loan, I got sick and a bit behind. LOL I owe about $580 on the loan left..... mostly some old late fees piled up, too much interest, and maybe a full payment. And knowing I am sick, and I owe so little now, and I'm paying still, around $200 a month, THAT MAKES SENSE to #@%$! all over your paying clients and start breaking FEDERAL laws and stalk them. I certainly hope the FEDS come look at all their loan files and see how many people they pushed into a predatory loan situation. Run! I hope you do! Run the other way!
They will not take payments I had car accident and can't work so if they did my account would been paid off long time ago I offered $100 a week and they refused so now I have to use that money and hire a lawyer to deal with them, the owner is rude he won't do anything unless it his way, sad because all I wanted was to pay off my account his staff are nice but not him. Will take my business elsewhere.
