This credit union is the best! The staff is awesome, they are always helpful and you are in and out quickly.
Their data system structure, or the way their accounts are tied together, is not good. I cannot see my wife's account no she mine even tho we hold them jointly with full rights of survivorship, withdrawal, etc. This is why I closed my account and drew our other one down to minimum. And if you want a paper statement, they charge $2 per month on your saving accounts! We will be moving our car loan as well. I discussed this with their service rep to no avail; this new policy just took effect.
Been a "member" here for years. This place has totally gone down hill.
Heard a commercial for this great car and RV loan they are offering. Applied online, got the call to visit this location, and then it all went downhill. Rep said she didn't know they even did loans on RVs past class A motorhomes. Then went to say my credit score was just 1 point shy of qualifying for the loan. Then the rep said she noticed a different loan on my credit report. With $5k down they could refinance the almost paid off loan with a 1 percent savings but adding 5 years of payments. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere and got a way better offer.
Though the people in this branch are awesome, Desert Financial is by far thee worst. App is terrible, can’t even pay your credit card on the app. Don’t waste your time.
