Made to believe solid chance of a guaranteed loan for a vehicle. Was Denied credit on a signature loan, which I was not seeking in the first place. Credit for both secure and unsecured loan, which were guaranteed offers by mail as a former customer, were essentially never run. No evidence of such reflected on my credit reports as even a soft inquiry. Set appt with all information requested by phone, with intent for such secure loan. I am a former customer (Two times) paid off loans in good standing. Made such appt, and arrived however they only ended up wasting my time. Although proof was provided regarding my income and the sources, allocations on debt. I was still denied credit. I felt it was mostly all about why NOT to provide a secured loan. ***"Very Dissappointed and they wasted my time without even bothering to run my credit, and 14 dollars in shuttle money to get there and back*** More Time was spent on my personal financial managing, as well as asking very personal questions on who pays what, why and how long as far as mere utilities, which I found to be outside the boundaries required to obtain a vehicle loan. I had worked with One Main for years. I left very dissappointed, my time was wasted and felt I was not valued as a former customer, nor potential new one. I felt the decision was decided more on a personal level. I recommend this finance company NOT send guaranteed loan offers if your misleading people to do the same (waste their time). Especially to former customers who once had good experiences. Very dissappointed and won't return, to do business with one main financial, at this local office, again.
