I don't know what people do here. It seems to be a bunch of kids hanging around waiting to get off.

Me and my fiancee were almost 2 years ago. We got stranded and had to pawn her ring 3 weeks after getting engaged. As emotional as this was if it wasn't for this staff we would not have pawned it and might still be stuck. 6 months after our due date I got an email offering us to pick it back up, but being back in California we couldn't. That was a huge life issue and these guys made a bad situation a little more tolerable. God bless and thank you from the bottom of our hearts

I have occasionally used this store and their other location near 4th street and Route 66 for a few years now with few issues, but after my last visit I will not return. This store has easily profited at least $600 over the last few years for only a couple items I did not come back for, which were mostly high end electronics that are very easy to re-sell in store. Example, I had a $200 Snap On electronic tool new in the box that I pawned for $25, however I ended up letting my pawn ticket expire, so the shop made out pretty good on that one. They always told me that they offer the same $ amount for selling or pawning items, so the store profits either way, more so usually if you don't pick the item up. Sadly after my last visit I brought in a mint condition JBL sound system which cost over $500 new and were selling used on Ebay for about $400. I figured they would offer me about $80-$100 pawn for this item, instead the "shady" lady tried to fabricate some BS about my customer history being bad from not picking up a pawn ticket years prior, and also claiming I have done this "multiple times at several other locations". This was a flat out lie because I have only ever been to one other Super Pawn store. She then said: "oh well it looks like you haven't been a good customer in the past, so because of that I can only offer you $30." Oddly I was told by other employees prior that the individual stores do not have access to any of the other stores computer systems, so somebody lied to me about that one. I will never give them my buisiness again after they tried to pull this stunt on me. I personally think this is borderline illegal, but they know their clients are all broke and certainly aren't going to have money for lawyers to challenge it. This store policy is basically a type of scam that prays on people who are desperate by creating a fake merrit (credit) system on past customers who they know are obviosly desperate if they keep returning. The store has already profited nicely on this type of customer in the past, so you would think they would be glad to see these people return to their store. Instead they spin it around and fabricate an excuse to penalize specific customers for the purpose of devaluing the physical good (item) that is being used for collateral, since pawning is NOT based on credit to begin with. It is a blatant scam and a form of discrimination againt specific targeted customers. This chain Pawn Shop (Super Pawn Cash America) has some very shady and unethical business practices to say the least, places like this give the pawn industry a bad name!

While passing through Flagstaff, I was short on funds and was forced to pawn a firearm. When I went back to get it out of pawn and pay off the balance. They wouldn't let me 1) pay off the balance (and threatened to charge interest) and 2) require I have a AZDL. If I'm traveling through AZ and I don't have a AZDL. How am I suppose to get my firearm back? Essentially, they are stealing my firearm.
